daCi is a unique organization. I LOVE that the conference includes young people as this is the reason ultimately that we all do what we do. Opportunities to engage meaningfully with young people are so important and really make this conference and organization special.

I will join my colleagues to extend my heartfelt gratitude for the work that you and your team did to make the conference a success. It is because of your selflessness that the conference had the right tempo, tone, and texture.

DaCi’s unique conference format was so evident – bringing theory and practice together with intercultural understanding in action through dance and a stimulating international network of outward-looking dance education colleagues.

The thought that was put into the planning was clearly demonstrated in the magnificent execution of an amaizing conference. You could feel the collegiality of the participants (both adults and children). What a beautiful way to experience cultural humility and global citizenship.

Seeing all the exciting children and adults from around the world gives me great satisfaction that daCi will continue to grow from strength to strength. The avenue made available to our children in which to express themselves the best way they can speak volumes.

I’m so thrilled to have had opportunity to experience the Conference and Ljubljana firsthand. To see the youth from so many countries dancing together hugging and tearfully saying farewell to each other on the last night showed me the success of the conference. Lifelong connections are made through dance. Dance makes a difference.

I am humbler and more motivated at the same time to stay engaged and convince my “environment” of the importance of arts in education.

It was amaizing to be able to connect with and debate global dance education issues with so many diverse, international peers.

My most memorable moment was the atmosphere at the opening ceremony. It really “blew me off” somehow, it was really nice, this feeling of togetherness was established right away and this was really cool.

As a teacher I got many great new contacts actually, just talking with new people and learning about … oh so you are doing a bit the same as me but with a new approcah … It was really nice to get to know new colleagues from all around the world. Definitely.

The most memorable workshop I attended was watching my students really grow and develop in their color groups. They have grown, they have changed, they’ve been challenged, they gained new and exciting experiences … so … Bravo!

DaCi means that it is a service organization, really dedicated to the betterment of all children, all people, all individuals, around the world – connected.

I really feel that the overall atmosphere of this conference was joyous. It was welcoming, people were helpful and friendly. The children have just thrived!

The most memorable moment was when I was over at the children’s program and I saw all the children creating and working together from all different countries.

DaCi means so much to me, it is the greatest organization that brings children, teacher, and professionals together to celebrate dance.

The overall atmosphere of the conference was full of energy. I must say I enjoyed seeing the joung people presenting their performances. The performances were so diverse in a sense of where the young people are coming from and the dance traditions that they are presenting.

High energy, vibrant, exciting, dance is the best!

I have so many new ideas and questions from this conference. I am excited to put some of these ideas into practice. I am particularly interested in working on integrating the curriculum with dance and other learning areas. I am also excited to continue bringing dance experiences to students with diverse backrgounds – especially those who have never danced before. I go back to teaching with confidence that dance in education is important, and that there are vast amount of researchers and educators with huge experience to draw from.
