daCi leaders made an online conference presentation at the Twenty-Sixth International Conference on Diversity in Organizations, Communities & Nations held 27th - 29th May 2026 in Mexico City.

daCi Chair Vesna Gersak; Chair Elect Nicholeen DeGrasse Johnson; Past Chair Jeff Meiners; Malaysia Representative and 2027 conference convenor Muhammad Fazli Taib Bin Saearani, collaborated for the conference titled: The Social Impacts of Geopolitics: Interventions to Strengthen Humanity.
Their presentation was titled Diversity and inclusion in Dance and the Child international (daCi):
Critical activism for intercultural understanding through dance education
Focusing on the foundation of daCi as an international organisation with culturally diverse aspirations, the presentation included reference to a recent Advisory Board survey 'Cultural Diversity and daCi' along with explanations of the last 2024 conference in Slovenia and an introduction to plans for the Malaysia 2027 conference.
Challenges of volunteerism and funding were addressed as well as the successes of action through projects such as Twinning, Outreach, Research, UNESCO's Sustainable Development Goals and UNESCO endorsed Declarations such as the daCi 2024 Ljubljana Declaration.
